Who Are We Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable DWH to join our Data Management team DWH project in Latvia.

The ideal candidate will have a Advanced experience with or knowledge of most of the following software, languages and tools:  Oracle Analytics Server (+BI Publisher) and Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL

 

Responsibilities:

 

Design and Architecture:

  • Knowledge of warehouse architecture, including data models, schema designs, and ETL processes.
  • Choose the appropriate technology stack and tools for data warehousing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and convert them into relevant data models.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
  • Ensure scalability and efficiency in data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Ensure secure access to data warehouse environment and data protection measures.
  • Testing, Maintenance and Documentation.

 

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Google cloud-based solutions.
  3. Strong knowledge of versioning and CI/CD.
  4. Advanced experience with or knowledge of most of the following software, languages and tools:  Oracle Analytics Server (+BI Publisher) and Oracle Data Integrator, PL/SQL
  5. Advanced knowledge and experience  in Oracle database technologies, SQL, ETL process, reporting and analytics
  6. Experience in database design and modeling for Oracle Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications, including relational database structures and normal forms.
  7. Experience with software documentation and version control (GIT)
  8. Knowledge of PCI standards and secure coding technics and tools (Sonar Cube)
  9. Analytical and troubleshooting skills with complex technical subjects and tasks.
  10. Ability to present and explain complex technical topics, problems, alternative solutions to others.
  11. Ability to work and communicate in a team
  12. Experience estimating solution development and delivering solutions against those estimates
  13. Knowledge and understanding of the software development life cycle.
