Role Overview

As an experienced developer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions while actively contributing to a positive and dynamic team environment. You will take ownership of the product increment in each sprint, ensuring usability and adherence to coding standards. Your role will involve collaborating with Product Owners to clarify requirements, managing the sprint backlog, and providing technical solutions to support the agile development process. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing within the team, adapt plans to meet sprint goals, and effectively communicate changes and impacts to stakeholders. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will drive continuous improvement within the team and contribute to the overall success of the development initiatives.

Who Are We Looking For

Skilled testers who are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions and capable of driving positive change within the team. In practice, this means:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in manual and automation testing.
• Good experience working on Databases Oracle: SQL Queries, Joins, Views etc.
• Good knowledge of tools like JIRA, Xray and Confluence
• Good understanding of Robot and Selenium framework
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Good understanding of agile – scrum/kanban.
• Nice to have experience in the payments domain
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Strong understanding of payment systems, specifically in Acquiring, and the acquiring business.
• A plus would be knowledge of the ATM industry and familiarity with their protocols.
• Ability to communicate clearly and adapt to European counterparts.
• Location: Pune

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test cases using simulators
• Execute API tests using SOAP, Postman
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate payment processing functionality and system integrations
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle
• Configure and operate test simulators to replicate real-world ATM and acquiring scenarios for thorough system validation
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on system performance, reliability, and compliance with financial services standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements for FS-Acquiring products
• Work closely with the product team to deliver scalable solutions that meet financial services requirements
• Commit to delivering usable value and a potentially shippable product increment in each sprint.
• Present usable value increments during dedicated sprint review meetings.
• Collaborate with POs to clarify requirements, distinguishing between the "what" and the "why."
• Share knowledge gained from challenges with the team.
• Communicate impacts of changes to other developers and product owners in a timely manner.
• Refine tasks that meet readiness criteria during Iteration Backlog Refinement (IBR).
• Utilize designated communication platforms to share issues and improvements with stakeholders.
• Adhere strictly to established processes while maintaining Jira tickets effectively.
• Monitor task status, update remaining time, and ensure all fields in Jira are accurately filled out.
