Job Description:

The Application Tester ensures the quality of new functionalities in applications, by executing exhaustive tests , following the defined test strategy for the project and by using state-of-the-art test tools. He will ensure the quality of existing functionalities by executing non regression tests. He will report to development teams any difference on expected results.

Main Activities:

• read, analyze and review all the project documents
• write test-scripts, based on received documents
• execute the test-scripts
• Create and document the issues (defects)
• undertake the close follow-up of the correction of the defects
• closely collaborate with development teams
• Maintain the reference data base of tests for the future releases of his application (non regression tests)
• Support external customers during their acceptance test phases
• Will be involved in maintenance phase for bugs discovered in production systems (reproduce, test corrections…)
• Min 2 years payment domain expertise
• ISTQB foundation certified
• Min 5 yrs  of testing experience
• Good in Unix and SQL
• JAVA coding experience will be value add
