The Opportunity
In this overall context, the organization of the Global Business Line Merchant Services is looking for a Project Leader for several acquiring platforms operated by Merchant Services in Brussels. In this role you will be responsible for the organization and execution of multiple exercises. Together with a team of experts you will strive for a seamless switch to another production site and for the shortest interruption of service possible (minutes). All exercises require clear communication, pro-actively and reactively. As organizer of the events you have a close connection with the Business Continuity Management community of Worldline.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Drafting a yearly based planning of all exercises in scope.
- Preparing the upcoming DRP Event from an organizational point of view.
- Facilitate and organize one or several dry run exercises prior to the event.
- Obtain approvals for planning and event organization from higher management.
- Execute as Event Manager the exercise, if possible during business hours and depending on the business impact it can be organized outside the business hours.
- Take the end responsibility on the next steps to take during an DRP exercise.
- Organize lesson learned sessions together with experts.
- Document rigorously all activities.
- Communicate internally about the status of the process.

- Written and verbal communication skills in English. Mastering other languages as French, Dutch and German are considered as a plus.
- Bachelor / Master of Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent degree.
