Day-to-Day Responsibilities
We design and operate cutting-edge digital payment and transactional solutions that promote sustainable economic growth while enhancing trust and security within our societies. We prioritize environmental sustainability, accessibility for all, and support social transformation.
Within the Worldline Merchant Services Business Unit, the ENTERPRISE division serves as a trusted advisor to large international merchants across Europe and globally, addressing their payment needs across all channels (in-store, online, mobile). The Strategic Accounts & Projects team is dedicated to managing and developing Worldline’s most strategic client relationships within this organization, which generates €1.3 billion in revenue.
This team focuses on delivering high-value consulting services, leading large-scale transformation projects, and co-creating innovative payment solutions with our key accounts. By leveraging deep industry expertise, data-driven insights, and a consultative approach, we help our clients optimize their payment strategies, enhance customer experience, and unlock new growth opportunities.
- Lead strategic consulting engagements for our key accounts, providing high-value recommendations to optimize their payment strategies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to large corporate clients, building strong relationships with finance and business teams, including C-level executives (CFO, CDO, COO, etc.).
- Identify and analyze business challenges faced by our clients, translating them into actionable insights and innovative solutions that leverage Worldline's expertise.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying new consulting opportunities, supporting pre-sales activities, and contributing to the growth of our strategic accounts.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Worldline (Sales, Product, Delivery, etc.) to ensure the seamless execution of consulting engagements that align with client needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the payments ecosystem to provide thought leadership to our clients.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our consulting methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen our value proposition.
Who Are We Looking For
- Master's degree from a top engineering or business school.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3-4 years in strategy consulting.
- Strongly recommended experience in the payment industry, technology consulting, or a treasury department.
- This position requires a blend of strategy, consulting, and business development skills.
- Strong consultative approach with merchants, positioning ourselves as a true advisor and partner to large corporate finance and business teams, including C-level executives.
- Self-starter mentality, willing to explore new approaches and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to navigate uncertainty with a test-and-learn mindset.
- Proficient in planning, organizing, and problem-solving across functions.
- Proficient in demonstrating value through data and metrics.
- Commercial acumen with a keen eagerness to grow the business.
- Strong capability to foster proactive, long-term relationships with large merchants.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
