Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Data Protection Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting data protection and privacy compliance activities across our organization in France. We are looking for a candidate with a foundational understanding of privacy, ideally from a legal or technical background. You will work in close collaboration with various Worldline departments and our Global Data Protection Officers. You will report directly to a Senior DPO, based at the headquarters, providing an excellent opportunity for mentorship and growth.
Your Responsibilities as a Data Protection Analyst :
- Working with Global Data Protection Officers and Worldline entities to ensure both existing and new products / services / processing activities comply with the relevant privacy requirements within the France perimeter.
- Supporting the data protection function for the France perimeter, ensuring compliance and best practices across all business lines.
- Implementing data protection policies and procedures in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conducting risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, and controls.
- Contributing to the consolidation of relevant entities’ Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) according to Article 30 GDPR. Coordinating their update with the business stakeholders.
- Reporting and responding to requests from data subjects.
- Providing guidance and assistance in handling data breaches, ensuring swift and effective response in accordance with legal requirements.
- Providing expert guidance and support to the organization on data protection and privacy matters.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with data protection requirements.
- Providing reporting on data protection trends, innovations in AI, and relevant regulatory developments.
- Supporting ongoing monitoring and control activities, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal standards.
- Helping to develop and deliver tailored data protection training to internal stakeholders across different levels of the organization to promote a culture of compliance and awareness.
Who Are We Looking For
- Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a role supporting data protection activities.
- You have gained initial operational experience in privacy, ideally within an international environment
- You have a good command of tasks such as maintaining a record of processing activities (RoPA), contributing to impact assessments (DPIAs), and handling data subject requests.
- Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and advocacy skills
