The Opportunity : DCC Account Development Manager


We are seeking a DCC Account Development Manager to join our Merchant Services team, focused on Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) in Europe. You will play a key role in expanding the DCC service, collaborating with sales, marketing, and technical teams, and supporting our clients across various sectors. Reporting to [Manager Name], you will contribute to the strategic growth of DCC and ensure the successful deployment of initiatives across multiple countries.

 

 

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

 

  • Develop and enhance the DCC service in the European market, executing the shared vision and strategies.
  • Consult with sales teams on high-potential clients and new distribution channels to increase DCC adoption.
  • Analyze reports, market trends, and customer data to identify gaps, opportunities, and forecast growth.
  • Provide expert DCC consultancy and training to internal teams and external stakeholders, boosting understanding and usage.
  • Lead efforts to improve DCC conversion rates by conducting trainings, presentations, and workshops for frontline employees (e.g., hotel reception staff).
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams during pre- and post-sales processes, supporting international client RFPs and negotiations.
  • Manage DCC accounts and relationships, crafting and presenting account plans to top management and stakeholders.
  • Be actively involved in internal DCC projects, offering high-value support.
  • Assist Marketing and Go-to-Market teams with promotion campaigns tailored to DCC growth.
  • Work across various European offices, supporting colleagues and fostering collaboration across business lines.

 

 

Your Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a commercial or related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in client-facing roles, with understanding of account, sales, and relationship management.
  • Proven “hunting” mindset and proactive “go getter” attitude.
  • Willingness to travel within France and Europe to meet clients and participate in events.
  • Entrepreneurial approach, creative in finding new opportunities and solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with reports, data, and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of industries such as hospitality, petrol, retail, travel, or luxury is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and French; Spanish language skills are advantageous.
  • Experience in payments and familiarity with DCC is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM tools.
