The Opportunity

Worldline Operation Services subdivision provides monitoring products to all Worldline Business lines around the world. As a service oriented department, we are experts in supervision, fast incident response and creating or integrating technical solutions around monitoring.
Our full team is made up of more than 100 people located in different European countries (France, Germany, Luxemburg, Netherlands and Poland).

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in IT Observability to join our dedicated observability team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive observability solutions that empower teams across the company to monitor and optimize their systems effectively. Your expertise will help create a culture of proactive reliability management and enhance overall system performance.

Our Observability stack relies mainly on Open Source solutions, like the Grafana stack (Grafana, Mimir/Prometheus, Loki...) but we keep operating other technical solutions in specific environment (Zabbix) 
We are also implementing a flexible predictive monitoring feature based on machine learning which will be live in a few weeks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing observability tools and practices across our infrastructure.
Your role will be to :

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement best-in-class observability solutions tailored to the needs of the organization (Internal Cloud & Public Cloud).
• Build standardized observability frameworks and tools that can be deployed across various applications and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring dashboards that provide real-time insights into system health, performance metrics, and service reliability.
• Explore and implement new technologies to enhance observability capabilities and promote infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and resources to facilitate knowledge sharing and effective tool usage across the organization.

You will join a team of 7 people located in France and Poland.

Who Are We Looking For

Ideal applicant will have :

• Great experience with Application and/or system Management in a production environment
• Great interest in observability and monitoring domains in general
• Good experience with log and metric management (Grafana suite, Prometheus, Telegraf…). Basic knowledge in other market providers is a plus
• First experience with machine learning and Public Cloud (GCP)
   

Required qualification

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar role with a focus on observability.
• Strong knowledge of observability tools and platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki. Experience with other technologies like ELK Stack, Dynatrace or Splunk might be a plus.
• Excellent scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Very good communication skills and English fluent
• Experienced on Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab and potentially Puppet
• Curious and innovation driven
