The Opportunity

Step into the role of Accounts Receivable Officer, where precision meets communication in the financial heartbeat of our company. You will be instrumental in managing our receivables, ensuring the timely collection of payments while keeping meticulous records. This position requires engaging with clients to solve billing issues and discrepancies, while supporting our finance team to maintain optimal cash flow. Dive into the world of financial operations that is dynamic, detail-oriented, and essential to our success.
 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding invoices; resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
  • Regularly reconcile customer accounts, accurately recording all payments and credits.
  • Maintain precise records of payments received, credit notes, account statements, and collection activities.
  • Prepare aging reports, track overdue accounts, and analyze cash flow trends; report payment delays to senior management.
  • Assist the finance department during month-end and year-end closings with necessary receivables data.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations on credit and collections.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar finance role (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficient in Office and databases; SAP knowledge is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues and discrepancies efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
