As a Database Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our database systems. Your mission will involve maintaining and managing SQL Server databases, providing 24x7 support for critical production systems, and implementing robust backup and recovery strategies. You'll ensure high availability, security, and performance, proactively resolving issues, and collaborating with developers and system administrators. Your strategic mind will drive database migrations and upgrades, refine and automate processes, and meticulously document configurations and procedures. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. This role is not just about maintaining databases; it’s about being a guardian of data integrity, a solver of complex problems, and a pioneer of innovative solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Maintain and Manage SQL Server databases for various products
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime
• Ensure high levels of availability, sustainability and security
• Proactively identify and resolve database performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective use of database resources
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities
• Plan and execute database migration and upgrade projects
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Document database configurations, procedures, policies and troubleshooting steps
• Mentoring and educating junior team members

• You master all technologies and tools with great ease
• 10-12 years of experience working in a similar environment
