The Opportunity

Managing stakeholders, ensuring to collaborate, understand the requirement to work effectively and

achieving the objective on common ground under win-win situation for both by providing technical consulting

and advisory services to cross functional teams

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Coordination with vendors for escalation
• Preparing & validation of Root Cause Analysis
• Preparation & Updating of Network diagram - LAN/WAN topology on Periodic Basis
• Updating the network devices and links inventory on periodic basis.
• Configuration & Validating the Configuration of new network devices.
• Syslog analysis & Preparing Action Plan for Critical Alerts to Resolve the Issues
• Good Knowledge of Incidents Management & Change management
• Review of Network Device Hardening Mechanism on Periodic Basis
• Configure and troubleshooting routing protocols like BGP
• Configuring and troubleshooting the Cisco Routers, Switches, Access Points, Wireless Controllers, WAF, Firewalls (Checkpoint, FortiGate and Juniper), Load Balancers.
• Upgrading the firmware of the network devices and maintaining the version to N-1 stable version.
• Working on the VA reports and mitigating the observations within the specified time interval
• Taking active part in periodic firewall policy reivew and helping in generating the clean report.
• Working with server and application teams and taking active participation in DR drills
• Logging calls with the service providers and ensuring maximum uptime for links, network devices.
• Assigning severity to the Incidents logged based on the definition.
• Logging Problem Ticket for unresolved Incidents with Technical Service Jira ServiceNow
• Analyze Security Alert messages on newly found vulnerabilities and fix.
• Installation of security patches & bug fixes on High Critical Devices
• System health checks for all Network devices & Action plan for any issues or Observations

Who Are We Looking For

• You can own and participate in undertaking routine preventative measures

You've got substantial knowledge of VPN configuration / Troubleshooting/ Routing/ Switching and it’s troubleshooting

• Ability  of managing stakeholders, ensuring to collaborate, understand the requiement to work effectively and achieving the objective on common ground under a win-win situation for both by providing technical consulting and advisory to cross functional teams.
• Motivation and passion for resolving the issues in hand and proactively participating in filling the gaps in the infra.
• Excellent troubleshooting of network related incidents like link outgates, routers/switches/firewalls/WAF hardware failures and network performance issues.
• CCNA certification is desired.
• 6-8 year of experience into networking BFSI sector
