The Opportunity

 

Worldline’s Merchant Business Line is a leading provider of end-to-end payment solutions, enabling merchants to accept payments seamlessly across multiple channels, including online, in-store, and via payment terminals. Our expertise in digital payments, transaction processing, and security allows merchants to enhance customer experience, increase sales, and build trust through secure and reliable payment services. As a Business Analyst within this dynamic environment, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our payment products are designed and delivered in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as data protection and anti-fraud measures. Your contributions will help shape innovative payment features that deliver smooth, secure, and compliant experiences for merchants and their customers worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

 

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, partners, and merchants to gather and document business and product requirements throughout all SDLC phases, leveraging Agile delivery practices.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a bridge between business teams, third-party vendors, partners, and delivery teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment on requirements and expectations.
  • Problem Statement & Documentation: Translate complex requirements and challenges into well-defined problem statements. Develop detailed documentation, including Epics and User Stories, to guide development teams.
  • Impact Assessments: Conduct high-level and detailed analyses of potential impacts of proposed changes or new features to estimate effort, resources, and timelines for delivery.
  • Product Defect & Issue Analysis: Investigate and analyze product defects and testing issues identified during various stages of the product lifecycle to facilitate resolution.
  • Solution Walkthroughs: Conduct functional and technical walkthroughs with relevant teams, explaining proposed designs and solutions to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
  • Best Practices & Delivery: Follow industry best practices for solution development, ensuring that solutions are timely, cost-efficient, and aligned with business needs.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Lead training sessions or share knowledge proactively to enhance team skills and ensure smooth adoption of new features or processes.

 


Technical Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Payment products or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Payments Schemes, Payment Gateway, Swift Format, ISO 20022
  • Location: Mumbai
