The Opportunity

 

As Tech Support person, you will play a critical role in day-to-day development activities and will be actively involved in production issues.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with production support members of the team to monitor and fix production issues on the live system.

You will also be responsible for client communication, which will allow you to grow and develop your skills and expertise.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

  • Full stack technologies like JSP, Servlet, JavaScript, Object Oriented JavaScript, AJAX ,Java
  • Review issues and provide solutions.  
  • Should have knowledge on RDBMS such as  MSSQL and Oracle, and Own lifecycle of all tickets handled by team from receipt to resolution  
  • Ensures adherence to the SLA for the services  
  • Can take complete ownership of user updates for any escalated issues. Monitoring, tracking, and reviewing the progress of an incident and keeping the customer informed
  • Coordinate with L3 team members, development team etc and take the issue to closure

  • As a tech support person, you will be responsible for communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. You must be able to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner, and have exceptional listening skills to fully understand the customer's problem.

 

  • You should have a solid understanding of the product or service you are supporting, and have a good working knowledge of technical troubleshooting tools and techniques and framework.
  • You will be working with a team of 10-12 members. You must have the ability to inspire and motivate your team, provide clear direction, and help them grow in their roles.
  • Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and the tech support person should be customer-focused, empathetic, and able to handle complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in development and support

 

Must have Skills

 

  • 3-5 years of working experience in development and support
  • Development experience in Web Application using Java, JSP, Servlet
  • JavaScript, Object Oriented JavaScript, AJAX
  • jQuery, jQuery libraries
  • HTML 5, HTML, CSS 3, CSS2
  • JS encryption libraries
  • Experience to develop application in Linux and Windows OS environment.
  • Well versed with common application servers (JBoss, Tomcat or IIS)
  • Good experience in Web services development (RESTful & SOAP)
  • Fundamental knowledge of design patterns
  • Good experience in RDBMS (MS SQL)
