The Opportunity

In Acquiring Global Products we develop backend systems through which European merchants manage their payments and through which millions of payments are processed daily. In addition to the core systems, which ensure smooth transaction processing, we develop web frontends as entry points for our customers.

Become a part of our agile and pure Payment DevOps team to develop with us cutting edge future payment solution and see them being used worldwide, we are looking for a Java Software Engineer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Build stable and cutting edge paytech systems and solutions on our current Java tech stack.
• Breath E2E agile DevOps air from analysis to design to implementation to functional testing to operation and support.
• Enthusiastically try and experiment with new tech and improve our ways of working learning yourself and educating the rest of the team in the process.

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Top level expertise with Java 8/11 and database (Oracle/MySQL/...) software development
• Passion for Agile software development
• Automate the hell out of everything! (CI/CD)
• Hungry to learn and adapt new technologies (e.g. Kotlin, Ruby ...)
• Good level of English (C1 level)
• Good level of Italian (C1 level)

Bonus Skills:

• Everything is code! - Experience with Docker, Openshift, Terraform
• MEAN, MERN, MEVN stacks
• Practitioner of clean code principles
