The agile Support team in the Acquiring Global Products back office is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring off systems through which International merchants manage their payments and through which millions of electronic payments are processed daily. We give our employees a lot of trust and great freedom and expect them to inspire our customers and us with their passion.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Help to look after and maintain stable, well-tested and at the same time modern systems
- Monitor and analyze our productive systems
- Precise work directly on the productive system
- Answer to client requests
- custom reports
- Mass updates / changes on database
- Analyse production errors
- business releated questions
- Participate in ad-hoc task forces
- Enhance the quality of our systems for our customers
- Propose solutions to enhance our software in favor of the client
- Respond flexibly to urgent problems in production
- Work with the software engineers to continuously improve the systems
- Show initiative, have the drive to change things
- Exchange thoughts and ideas with the group
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Linux (Shell) is a must
- Experience and passion for client support
- Customer-oriented and independent
- Interest in new things and fast learning
- Analytical and networked thinking
- Flexible, creative and pragmatic team player
- Good knowledge of Italian (B2), written and spoken
- Good knowledge of English (B2), written and spoken
- Computer science education (higher technical school, university)
- Knowledge of German appreciated
- Wish to continue to grow professional capabilities with ongoing training and educational opportunities
- Experience in the payment environment
- Experience with Java, Jakarta EE, Spring
