Objective
The Opportunity
If you're looking to start your career in payments within one of the most dynamic areas of tech, this internship places you at the core of acquiring within Worldline’s Enterprise division. You will work closely with the Sales team, contributing to real commercial initiatives while gaining hands-on experience with the operational and configuration aspects that enable transactions. This role reports directly to the Head of Acquiring and is fully embedded within the Sales organization, giving you exposure to the full commercial lifecycle.
As an Acquiring Support Intern, you will actively contribute to both business and operational activities. From supporting contractual topics and collaborating with Sales on strategic opportunities, to assisting in the configuration and management of acquiring and gateway settings, you will gain a practical understanding of how payment ecosystems work end-to-end. Activity
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Managing Director, Business Development Director, and Key Account Managers to execute Worldline Enterprise's commercial strategies.
- Support the definition of customer selection criteria to identify and optimize high-value business opportunities across the Enterprise division.
- Engage directly with clients and prospects, managing relationships effectively through every stage of the sales and post-sales cycle.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of contractual documentation related to acquiring services.
- Support the setup, management, and configuration of acquiring parameters, including merchant onboarding and gateway settings.
- Assist in configuring terminals and unattended solutions, ensuring proper integration with acquiring platforms.
- Contribute to resolving operational and configuration issues related to payment flows and transaction processing.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving efficiency in onboarding, configuration, and customer management processes.

- You hold or are pursuing a degree in Economics, Management Engineering, or a related business or technology-oriented discipline.
- Motivation and passion for the payments and fintech industry, with a curious mindset and eagerness to understand market dynamics.
- You are fluent in English and Italian, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
