The Opportunity

 

At Worldline, we are addressing persistent challenges of the payment world and have established ourselves as a leading developer of creative software solutions to enable the cashless society. We are looking for a highly-skilled Sales Manager, keen to keep our revenue engine running through their own skill and the leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. Our ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals. We’re seeking a self-starter with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can encourage the same in others. The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales representatives to build and maintain a high-performance sales force.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

  • Sell the entire Worldline portfolio focusing on Financial Service business line to one or several customers  in the country;

  • In charge of setting and executing the sales strategy  with key focus on hunting new business

  • Continue to grow new revenue in existing customers with new offerings

  • Where possible, fertilize across all other Global Business Lines collaborating with the respective GBL sales managers

  • Build sustainable and valuable client relationships at all levels with focus on the C-suite.

  • Build sustainable and valuable relationships with the partners in order to complete the 360° view ofclient

  • Position Worldline as a business partner, in order to identify and create new business opportunities

  • Drive the needs and expectations of the clients

  • Articulate Worldline solutions into a value proposition that answers the client needs

  • Propose innovative approaches and partnerships in order to develop unsolicited offers

  • Sell unique value propositions that will increase Worldline revenue, profit and market share

  • Contribute to the Account Plan definition

  • Lead the full sales cycle process, from the opportunity identification to order, including the win workshop and rainbow bidding processes

 

Skills we can’t do without:

 

  • Strong Payment industry expertise (Business model knowledge) with understanding and exposure to the needs of the country payment eco-system

  • Prior working experience in the  Banking and Financial Services Industry in the Credit/Debit Card department would be an added advantage

  • Have a good track record of deal closures Have built up Local & industry network (credibility with clients) covering all levels

  • International multi-cultural orientation

  • Personality & attitude: independent, good listener, empathetic, self-motivating attitude, team player;

  • Sales & Specific skills : Hungry and strong hunting sense and able to articulate , execute and influence sales strategy for closure (e.g, pricing skill, pitching skill, negotiation skill, prospecting skill etc)

  • Ability to perform strategic & business analytics on market trends

  • Business Case Understanding

  • Good spoken and written in English
