Day-to-Day Responsibilities​ 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the QA team, including task assignment, workload management, and performance evaluation
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and methodologies to ensure efficient and effective testing processes
• Lead the planning and execution of test plans, testing strategies, and testing efforts to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues
• Maintain and improve the overall quality of software applications, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to QA team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning
• Report on quality metrics, testing progress, and overall test results to project stakeholders

What We Are Looking For 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Extensive experience in software quality assurance and testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience in the financial industry is advantageous
• Proficiency in automated testing tools and practices
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear expectations, and drive results
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to QA processes and challenges
