The Opportunity

As a Key Account Manager at Worldline Iberia, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with our most strategic clients within Spain and Portugal. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs in the payments and digital services space, and delivering tailored solutions that drive revenue growth and long-term success for both our clients and Worldline.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

 

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in Iberia, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with clients’ business objectives and Worldline’s solutions portfolio, including payment services, digital banking, and commerce offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and renewal to maximize revenue within existing accounts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, providing expert guidance on product and solution offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, marketing, technical support) to develop customized solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.
  • Monitor account performance, track KPIs, and generate detailed reports for management.
  • Lead negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and competitive landscape within Iberia.
  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and in the wider market to expand Worldline’s footprint.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in SaaS, payments, or digital solutions sales/Key Account Management.
  • Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and delivering revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both Spanish and English. French is not a must, but would be highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry and digital financial solutions.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic account plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of local market regulations and payment industry standards.
  • Existing relationships with financial institutions, merchants, or digital merchants in Iberia.
  • Multilingual abilities, additional European languages are a plus.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to identifying client needs.
