You will be part of a high-profile Team, with very senior exposure (3 levels below CEO) managing major Bids globally.

We're going thorugh a significant transformation moving into Payment Platform as a Service which better reflects our position as the 1st payment player in Europe and 4th in the World.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • You are accountable for key global and strategic deals and RFPs. You manage proposals and bid responses on sales opportunities and RFP’s with the target Accounts (Global Accounts, Regional Key Accounts, Multi-Country Accounts and Global Partners) and provide support as required in local proposal management to ensure consistency with the overall offering strategy
  • You ensure a consistent global approach to the development and execution of proposition development, RFP capture planning activities and responses and sales messaging to selected strategic accounts
  • You identify and analise the needs of selected strategic Accounts, assessing the capabilities of Worldline’s products and services to meet these needs and aligning the proposition with the needs through establishing the value and business case from the client’s perspective.
  • You build and deliver proposals that are quantifiable and show defendable differentiation (in the eyes of the client) by using a detailed understanding of the customer and in such a way that make it easier for the client to select and purchase products and services of Worldline over those of direct and indirect competitors
  • You lead on pre-sales activities, customer requests and RFI/RFP’s for the Global Sales team, coordinating with the relevant teams at both local and group level
  • You partner with the Regional sales force and internal stakeholders to ensure clients have a seamless experience with Worldline and collaborate with Marketing and Product Heads, R&D and other teams to support the Go To Market of new products and solutions initiatives
  • You ensure that the propositions developed and delivered are fully aligned with our Account and Partner strategies, operational capabilities and standard product/service roadmaps, avoiding as much as possible the development of bespoke solutions. The propositions will need to demonstrate alignment with the strategy of the Accounts, considering their procurement and organisational decision practices and be articulated in their terminology
  • You lead proposition delivery and execution with target accounts
  • You develop and maintain a repository of robust, compelling and customer-focused material for use in customer presentation and bid responses
  • You engage with the regional product and marketing teams to develop story-based use cases (as opposed to predominantly technical literature) to explain how Worldline customers are benefiting from its solutions
  • You deliver solution presentations and pitches to key Accounts and Partners
  • You stay abreast of technology and innovation in the field of payments-related services to make recommendations in the design and functional coverage of the solutions, and to better support competitive positioning
  • Other accountabilities, projects, and duties may be assigned or changed from time to time

  • You drive the success of new service and product sales measured through win rates, growth of recurring services and solutions revenues, proposition conversion rates and time from proposition to live sale
  • You sit within the heart of the sale achievements of the Global Sales team, ensuring the proposition development and delivery to the target Accounts and Partners at the global and local levels

 

Skills we can’t do without:

  • Proven track record of proposal/bid management
  • Working experience within the payments or professional services industries within global organisations
  • Proposition development and consultative selling skills
  • Strong commercial and financial skills
  • Very strong and authoritative communicator, capable of presenting at senior-level. Ability to communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and propose tailored and efficient solutions both from a technical and business stand point, translating technical language to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills
  • Accomplished interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to use a variety of engagement techniques. Able to work at the executive level to support of the broader outcomes of the business
  • Aptitude in interactions in complex, multi-country business organisations
  • Solid understanding and exposure to B2B large / complex organizational sales
  • Experience in complex project implementations (design, proposal, project management, operation, support) with the ability to apply structured processes, identify key milestones, manage multiple workstreams and deliver projects on-time, on spec and on budget
  • Extremely well organized with the ability to plan ahead to meet deadlines and targets
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to firm deadlines
  • Ability to manage and influence cross-functional multi-disciplinary teams including senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter able to set and manage priorities and work with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong ability to coordinate effectively with people (internal/external) across geographically diverse cultures
  • Excellent client facing skills and able to be credible to the key client contacts and decision makers
  • Discretion, diplomacy and ability to work on confidential projects and support Chinese walls to avoid conflicts
  • Attention to detail, able to produce high quality, accurate, error free, customer facing executive level outputs
  • Creative, can do attitude, ability to pivot and adapt to change and juggle multiple priorities
  • 8-yr+ experience in sales, technology/services environments, bid management or business development using capture and proposal development processes

 

Skills we’d like:

  • Other European languages is a strong plus
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or/and professional qualification (Marketing, IT, Computer Sciences, Economics)
  • Analytical thinker with good strategic planning skills and the ability to sell transformation
  • High technical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead and execute technical project plans
