The Opportunity
As an L2 Network Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure. Your technical expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and incident management will ensure our network operates seamlessly and securely. If you are passionate about resolving complex network issues, driving operational excellence, and supporting infrastructure improvements, this is the ideal opportunity for you. You will serve as a key point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, swift resolution of incidents, and continuous network optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalations and coordinate with vendors.
- Conduct root cause analysis and manage incident tickets.
- Maintain and update network diagrams, device inventories, and configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless devices.
- Perform system health checks, firmware upgrades, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Manage security policies, patching, and vulnerability alerts.
- Collaborate with server/app teams and manage network uptime.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in BE/BTech with specialization in IT or related fields is essential, serving as a strong foundation for your technical expertise and career growth in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- 2-4 years of networking experience in BFSI.
- Expertise in routing, switching, VPN, security, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of BGP and network infrastructure management.
- CCNA certification preferred.
