The Opportunity

Join our APAC Malaysia team as a (Junior) Treasury Analyst, where you'll play a key role in supporting our treasury operations during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge treasury systems and contribute to automation initiatives while supporting daily treasury functions across the region.

You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on innovation, analysis, and process improvement.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide support for daily cash management and cash forecasting, including cash positioning and periodic reporting for the Australian market. The successful candidate may need to work according to Australian time zones.
• Assess exposure positions for foreign currency and interest rate risks, monitor FX markets, and recommend hedging strategies
• Maintain accurate bank account records, oversee bank balances, and handle account openings and signatory updates
• Manage communication with banks and customer support teams, handling acquiring-related transactions and issue resolution
• Assist in implementing compliance best practices, supporting treasury manual updates and KYC requirements
• Participate in treasury-related business projects, including clearing and settlement operations and digitalization initiatives
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Treasury department as needed

In practice this means:

• 1-3 years of relevant working experiences
• Good with Microsoft Office Excel (including Macros) / Word / PowerPoint , and Power BI for data analytics
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analytics and process automation
• Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
• Project management capabilities and good with workflow automation tools
