The Opportunity As a Java Developer Intern at Worldline Financial Services Malaysia, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our development team to assist in designing, coding, and testing Java applications. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the payments technology industry and the opportunity to learn from experienced developers while contributing to real-world projects that enable secure payments and trusted transactional services.

• Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  •    Assist in the development of Java-based applications and services.
• Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  •    Participate in team meetings to discuss project requirements and progress.
  •    Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code.
  •    Conduct testing of applications and assist in debugging issues.
  •    Document code changes and technical specifications as needed.
  •    Learn and apply new Java technologies, frameworks, and tools.

What are we looking for

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  Basic understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented concepts.
  Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is a plus.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
  Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and basic understanding of querying is preferred.
  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
