Position Overview:
The Presales Consultant plays a pivotal role in the success of Worldline Financial Services by leading and enhancing the capabilities of the presales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise & Consultation:
- Serve as the primary expert and leader in presales technical resources, specifically in credit card issuing and merchant acquisition platforms; Also expand these offerings in the adjacent areas such as loan origination systems as well as Loyalty programs platforms.
- Guide the team in articulating complex technical solutions to meet diverse customer requirements across IBM Z series, IBM Power, and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google Cloud).
Solution Strategy & Enhancement:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to identify and address gaps in the current solution offerings.
- Explore and integrate partner products to enhance solution value, ensuring alignment with market demands.
Solution Demonstration & Documentation:
- Oversee the delivery of engaging product demonstrations, supporting consultants in refining presentation techniques.
- Ensure the creation of comprehensive product documentation and proposals tailored to the sales cycle, leveraging innovative technologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Cultivate robust relationships with customers, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction during and after the sales process.
- Lead strategy sessions with customers to uncover new business opportunities and provide actionable, strategic insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support:
- Actively liaise with sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure full alignment between customer needs and our product offerings.
- Supervise the development of high-quality technical content, supporting marketing initiatives and customer education through whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
Continuous Learning & Industry Insight:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in cloud technologies and AI/ML applications, and ensure the team remains knowledgeable and responsive to changes.
- Represent the company in industry events and conferences, advocating for our solutions and facilitating partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in presales roles within the payment software industry, with a strong track record of leadership and innovation.
- Deep expertise with IBM Z series, IBM Power, and cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Proven ability in solution selling and strategic customer relationship management.
