Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor implementation project delivery
- Analyze changes required based on requirement specification (Payment Networks’ and CardLinK’s user request)
- Perform design based on the requirements, create both functional and technical specifications
- Code programs from technical specification
- Ensure that the code is reviewed before testing begins
- Produce a unit test plan and perform the test
- Perform system testing from system test plan and resolve defects found
- Comply with standards and quality procedures
- Complete all work within agreed estimate
- Report progress to the project manager or implementation project delivery lead
- Present to customers and conduct training
- To provide consultation to work closely with clients for understanding their business requirements and analysis existing systems and processes to identify areas for enhancement to align with clients’ goals.
Requirements:
- Degree or above in IT or any relevant disciplines
- At least 10 years’ solid experience in IBM z/OS environment and COBOL programming language
- Excellent knowledge of the Credit Card Industry and Payment Systems
- Good knowledge of the Financial/Banking Industry in general
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to assimilate customer requirements and design appropriate functional solutions
- The ability to project a confident, knowledgeable and professional image when dealing with customers
