The opportunity
The common Remote Service Platform (cRSP) is a state of the art IoT platform for medium to large scale industrial applications. Key use cases are Remote Servicing, Monitoring and File Transfer. Our platform is used by various big industrial customers to manage, audit and maintain their devices in field in a simple and secure way. The cRSP team is responsible for the development and operation of the platform and is located at the sites Konstanz, Böblingen (Germany), Brno (Czech Republic) and Vienna (Austria). We are looking for an engaged “cRSP DevOP Solution Manager” responsible for the team lead of ~10 employees at the site Konstanz. Furthermore, included is the responsibility of business strategy, the requirement management/engineering, the roadmap planning as well as the communication with the team and customers for clarification of the customer demands. This role also includes a mediator position between customers and the internal teams (like development, security, architecture, etc.) regarding the requirements.
Day-to-day responsabilities
- Disciplinary team leading of a team with 10 employees
- Communication with the team and customers for clarification of the customer demands
- Roadmap and Version planning
- Overview of the current projects with timeline, status and budget
- Overview of the finished projects
- Overview of the planned projects (short-, middle-, long term)
- Costs planning
- Deadline planning
- Coordinating the roadmap with the customer - Communicate effort estimations to customers and ordered change requests to the team
Who Are We Looking For
- Leadership and people management
Coaching, delegation, performance feedback, conflict resolution
Motivating and developing team members
- Deep technical IT and network knowledge and specialized knowledge with respect of remote servicing
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes, e.g. change enablement, release management, etc.
- Excellent communicational skills with customers and internal development teams. Clear written and verbal communication with remote and internal stakeholders
- Ability to create diagrams that convey requirements (process flows, use case diagrams, …)
- Active listening, stakeholder analysis, and requirement elicitation
- Readiness to work in an international, agile team
