Your responsibilities

Account and relationship management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients within Luxembourg, serving as their trusted partner.
  • Act as the primary contact for client inquiries, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for growth, upselling, and cross-selling of Worldline solutions.

Proactive business development

  • Identify and prospect new clients/partners and market segments within Luxembourg to expand Worldline’s presence.
  • Develop and implement targeted prospecting strategies and lead generation activities, creating a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead from the front in approaching new prospects, including cold outreach, meetings, and presentations to showcase solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and management to develop tailored proposals and overcome objections, closing new deals that contribute to revenue targets.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to network and foster new business opportunities.

On-site customer visits & negotiations

  • Conduct regular on-site visits to clients and prospects to understand their operational environment, foster trust, and strengthen relationships.
  • Lead negotiations and closing discussions face-to-face, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements aligned with client needs and company objectives.

Strategic growth & account planning

  • Develop and execute account plans tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on long-term partnership development.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts/partner’s and in the broader Luxembourg market.
  • Support onboarding and ensure smooth transitions for new clients, promoting long-term engagement.

Market & client insights

  • Stay informed about local market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments in Luxembourg’s payments landscape.
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to internal teams to influence product development and service enhancements.

Collaboration & teamwork

  • Work closely with sales, product, marketing, customer service and technical teams to tailor solutions and deliver integrated proposals.
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts and increase existing account revenue.
  • Contribute to the team’s sales targets and strategic growth initiatives.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain detailed and accurate Salesforce records of client activities, opportunities, and pipeline status.
  • Deliver regular forecasts, pipeline updates, and strategic insights to management.

Who We Are Looking For

A motivated, entrepreneurial-minded professional with a passion for business growth and client success. You will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in key account management and new business development within payments, banking, or financial services.
  • A strong track record of prospecting, generating leads, and closing new deals.
  • Deep understanding of payment processing, merchant services, and fintech solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Soft Skills:

  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory; German and Luxembourgish are advantageous.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Perform regular on-site visits across Luxembourg.
