The Opportunity
Join our Financial Services APAC team as a Support Analyst based in Indonesia, where you'll work with our AS400 team to support mission-critical business applications. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical expertise whilst contributing to the smooth operation of systems that power financial services across the region.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the company's mission-critical business applications
- Take ownership of incidents and progress through to closure
- Investigate and resolve incidents by applying fixes on time and efficiently
- Document the troubleshooting and problem resolution steps, testing and results
- Provide assistance and advice to customers in the effective use of systems and applications
- Communicate clearly with customers, teammates and team lead
- Create, enhance, test and implement programs in accordance with requirements and scope
- Ensure that any assigned project work is completed on time and meets quality standards
What are we looking for
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what's next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- BSc degree in Software Engineering, IT or equivalent qualification
- 1-2 years experience in troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving (fresh graduates encouraged to apply with training provided)
- Programming/support and debugging experience in COBOL, RPG, Java, C or C++
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to new systems and platforms, particularly AS400
