The Opportunity
Join our 2nd Line of Defense Compliance team at Worldline Financial Services (WFS EU) as a Compliance Intern. You will work in an international environment, collaborating with various teams including Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Sales, while reporting to the Head of Compliance. This role offers hands-on experience in regulatory compliance within a fast-growing international payments company.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support policy and procedure drafting/review to ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with regulatory reporting preparation and submission to authorities (CSSF and other regulatory bodies)
- Conduct documentation reviews and compliance framework revisions
- Support AML/CTF activities including customer due diligence and transaction monitoring using World Check tool/Ricos
- Investigate transactional patterns escalated by 1st Line of Defense and report irregularities to MLRO
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date KYC, AML/CTF and Sanctions policies and procedures
- Support preparation of AML/CTF reports and surveys (internal and external)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Legal, Sales) on compliance-related projects

- Masters degree in Law or Administration with strong analytical and organisational foundation
- Fluency in French and English for effective communication in international environment

- Strong communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Proactive, results-driven approach with ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
