The Opportunity
Worldline, a global leader in payment services, is seeking an experienced Global Relationship Manager for eRetail to drive growth and partnerships across our global footprint. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and skilled individual to join our high-performing team and make a significant impact in the retail payments ecosystem. The scope of the position is across EMEA and Americas.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a global business development strategy tailored to the retail sector, ensuring alignment with Worldline’s overarching goals.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at retailers, payment partners, and industry stakeholders across EMEA and Americas.
- Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities within the global retail payments landscape.
- Deal Closing: Lead complex negotiations, create winning proposals, and drive revenue by securing long-term partnerships with clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, and operations to deliver value-driven solutions.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- 5-8 years of proven business development experience, preferably in the retail, payments, or retail-related sectors.
- Strong understanding of global markets with the ability to navigate cultural nuances across APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and Americas.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Retail ecommerce systems, payment and retail trends, and challenges is a strong advantage.
- You deliver optimal solutions by evaluating various alternatives and exploring adaptations of policies, procedures, and techniques to meet customer needs effectively.
