The Opportunity
As the Product Manager for our API, SDKs, Webhooks, and Authentication, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution of these critical components of our product portfolio, as well as related other integration tools and applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, merchant implementation and customer experience to ensure that our developer-facing offerings meet the needs of our clients and align with the overall business
Our API’s, it’s authentication and related SDKs allow our clients and partners to process payments on our platforms and perform actions related to transactions. Next to our API and checkout solutions, they depend on webhook notifications, to inform them about relevant events regarding their transactions. Our integration products are used daily by global top brands to process their payments. We offer different tools and applications to our clients that allows them to integrate easily and increase their conversion. About the team
You will work for Worldline’s Merchant Services Global Business Line and will be the part of product management team. Product teams within Worldline work cross functionally across various internal teams – responsible for end-to-end delivery of a product.
- Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, pain points, and use cases for our API, SDKs, Webhooks, Authentication and other developer tools. You use this insight to shape the roadmap, prioritizing features and functionality that deliver the most value
- Collaborate closely with your valuestream (engineering team), as well as other valuestreams, to define and prioritize the development of the products you own.
- Provide clear requirements and create user stories to ensure efficient and effective development. You prioritize the backlog of your valuestream and for the SDK team and participate in the scrum events for your valuestream
- Create and maintain comprehensive, user-friendly documentation for our API, SDKs, and other integration products. Ensure that our developer-facing resources, including code samples, tutorials, and reference materials, are up-to-date and tailored to the needs of our target audience
- Engage with clients, colleagues and the developer community to gather feedback, understand their evolving needs, and identify opportunities for improvement. Use this information to inform product decisions and drive continuous enhancement of our offerings.
- Manage the lifecycle of our API, authentication, developer tools, webhooks and SDKS: from inception, design, validation with developers, development, go-live and continuous improvement
- Work closely with various stakeholders, like product managers, UX Designers, merchant integration managers and engineers
- Align your work with other product managers of the Connect integration product suite as well as product managers of other teams
Who Are We Looking For

- Bachelors degree in related field with at least 3-5 years of experience at similar position, with a focus on APIs and developer-facing products.
- Have knowledge of common API and SDK standards (e.g., REST, OpenAPI).
- Experience in leading fast-paced, technically focused products teams, and delivering against ambitious roadmaps
- A team player that combines both strategic and operational tasks in a highly dynamic organization.
- Hold experience explaining APIs, SDKs and integration products in a clear and fun manner, that also gets non-technical people involved and enthusiastic.
- You have strong analytical skills: Understands customer/market needs to translate into associated functionalities that can be easily implemented
- Ability to make data driven decision and prioritize accordingly – impact of compliance, technical debt and operational challenges on product roadmap
- Demonstrate critical skills – communication, learnability, drive and business acumen
- Ability work independently with minimal supervision
