The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a talented Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant (SC) to enable the sales organization to win complex deals. You will translate merchant needs into technically sound, commercially viable payment solutions using Worldline products and services. You’ll design customized solutions, document them in SOWs and project plans, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to demonstrate technical credibility and build strong relationships.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

Pre-Sales Scope

  • Design payment solution integrations with Worldline platforms.
  • Engage with Sales on new and upsell opportunities; attend meetings as a technical expert.
  • Present products, capabilities, and technical proposals to customers alongside the sales team.
  • Gather and translate customer requirements into effective solutions; technically qualify proposed solutions.
  • Design solutions and payment products aligned to markets/merchants’ user experience.
  • Support reporting/reconciliation efforts for merchants; deliver Solution Design documents per internal procedures.
  • Respond to information requests and technical inquiries from customers.

 

Consulting Services Scope

  • Analyze merchants’ business models and implement industry best practices to improve conversion rates.
  • UX/Checkout optimization: conduct UX analyses to reduce friction in the checkout flow.
  • Understand payment flows (recurring payments, tokenization, card validation, 3DS) and apply best practices per merchant industry.
  • Stay current on new products and market developments; collaborate with Product teams to enhance services.

 

Relationship & Delivery

  • Build and maintain credibility with clients and internal stakeholders (sales, product, engineering, and external partners).
  • Translate technical findings into executive-ready value propositions and presentations.
  • Translate solutions into formal documentation (SOW, project plans) and hand off to delivery with clear milestones and acceptance criteria.

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

 

  • 3+ years in a technical Pre-Sales/Solution Consulting role in e-payments/financial services; relevant university degree (preferably Computer Science or related field).
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, assertive, and capable of coordinating cross-regional teams.
  • Strong background in payments, e-commerce, and PSP ecosystems; familiarity with fraud controls, tokenization, 3DS, and recurring payments is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
