The opportunity

As Head of SMB Sales for the Netherlands, you will lead a diverse sales team focused on in-store payments and e-commerce sales. You will drive revenue growth, minimize churn, and build effective sales strategies, while acting as the external face of Worldline's SMB business within the Netherlands market.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse sales team, fostering a high-performance, target-driven culture
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive SMB growth, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective use of CRM tools
  • Build and strengthen client and partner relationships through regular visits, identifying new growth opportunities and limiting churn
  • Act as the external face of the business, representing Worldline with federations, stakeholders, and the wider Netherlands SMB market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service and operations teams to ensure aligned execution and optimal customer outcomes

  • Proven experience in people leadership, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial mindset, with a track record of driving sales growth, forecasting, and budget management while taking end-to-end ownership
  • Solid background in finance and payments, particularly within in-store and e-commerce sales
  • Strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills, able to identify new market opportunities and navigate competitive landscapes
  • Proficient with CRM tools, ensuring effective adoption and use across the team
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, comfortable representing the business externally with clients, partners, and federations
  • Change management experience, particularly in scaling or restructuring sales teams
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
