The Opportunity  

We are seeking a dynamic Head of GC Pricing & FX to lead our unified global Pricing and FX team. The role is under the “Consulting Services” team within our Global Commerce Merchant Services division. This pivotal role will merge two specialist teams into one cohesive unit, driving deal pricing excellence and the FX business while protecting company margins and delivering exceptional value to Tier 1 global enterprise merchants. Based at our Hoofddorp main office with hybrid working arrangements, you'll be reporting directly to the Global Head of Consulting Services. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities  

• Lead and drive the transformation of the merged Pricing and FX Consulting teams into one unified, high-performing unit 

• Your team owns all deal pricing proposals sent to merchants, ensuring corporate pricing policies are followed and company margins are protected  

• Maintain and optimise pricing tools, ensuring accurate cost components and reliable data sources contribute to accurate pricing decisions  

• Develop and execute FX strategies for enterprise e-commerce clients, balancing margin protection with customer value creation  

• Establish comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor pricing trends and analyse existing client behaviour using data-driven approaches  

• Lead and steer the FX business development, including close collaboration with Finance / Treasury and Product teams on value proposition enhancement  

• Act as a primary escalation point for complex negotiations with Sales teams, demonstrating strong negotiation skills to protect Worldlines business 

• Lead customer-facing activities such as event presentations and merchant meetings 

• Manage back-office pricing operations to ensure cross-functional alignment of Products, Fin-Ops, Finance, and Treasury with the team’s strategy 

• Drive transformation and innovation within the Consulting Services environment, challenging existing processes with an entrepreneurial mindset  

• Collaborate closely with other Consulting Services teams, such as Pre-Sales, Payment Performance, and Strategic Projects teams to deliver integrated solutions  

• Support senior management with product roadmap planning, budget analysis, and strategic proposals 

Who Are We Looking For

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in fintech industry, with proven experience in management positions or super senior level ready for the next leadership step 

• Extensive deal pricing experience in fintech, with deep understanding of cost components and comprehensive pricing framework management  

• Very strong FX background, ideally from FX-focused companies or similar 

• Proven ability to work with senior management, handle product roadmap discussions, and develop budget analysis and proposals  

• Exceptional analytical skills with experience building business cases, pricing models, and performance monitoring frameworks  

• Direct experience in dealing / negotiating with Tier 1 global enterprise e-commerce merchants across travel, retail, marketplaces, and digital goods sectors  

• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities, particularly in high-stakes commercial discussions  

• Entrepreneurial spirit with drive to challenge processes and lead transformation initiatives  

• Collaborative leadership style with experience managing multicultural, multidisciplinary teams  

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field
