The Opportunity

 

The Director - B2B Travel will be the key point of contact in sales to develop and launch the Worldline B2B solution to the market. This is a new role to the organisation, supporting a new proposition, and will require a confident self-starter who has strong knowledge of the B2B Travel market and how organisations utilize and leverage the opportunity in B2B payments. Initially this will be an individual contributor role, but we expect it to grow to a leadership role as we move more resources into the project.

 

This role will report to the Global Head of Travel and Airlines.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Identify and qualify the opportunities available in the market best suited to this solution.
  • Engage prospects during the development phase of this program to ensure we are meeting client needs and building best in class solution.
  • Be the key sales representative externally, and the voice of the customer with the internal project team and external partners.
  • Work closely with our card scheme partner to present the proposition to the market.
  • Develop in conjunction with marketing and product, collateral, content and an engagement plan to create market visibility.
  • Represent the organisation at relevant travel events where the B2B proposition is presented.
  • Work closely with credit and risk to ensure policy is in place the supports appropriate risk and compliance controls for this proposition.

 

Who Are We Looking For

 

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

 

  • Sales background with minimum 8 years of exposure with travel/financial industry.
  • Experience as a supplier or buyer of B2B (Virtual Cards) in the Travel Industry.
  • Knowledge of the payments, eCommerce or FinTech industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in any European Language is a plus.
  • Passion for Sales!!!
  • Self-driven, Well organized and structured.
  • “Can do” mentality and known for getting things done.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally for the greater good of the company.
