The Opportunity
The Senior Compliance Officer will serve as a key figure within the Ethics & Anti-Corruption team, focusing on the development, implementation, and oversight of compliance programs that align with international regulations and uphold the company's values.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for compliance topics, including ethics, anti-corruption, business partner screening, conflict of interest, gifts and invitations.
- Lead the development and execution of global ethics and anti-corruption policies, ensuring adherence to the Group's Code of Ethics.
- Conduct corruption risk assessments and support on third party risk assessment,
- managing all aspects of the ethics alert system (Integrity Line).
- Oversee training programs on compliance matters, ensuring high engagement and completion rates.
- Collaborate with various departments, including HR and Legal, and report on compliance activities regularly.

Qualifications (hard-skills)
- Master's degree in Law, Ethics, Compliance, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in ethics, compliance, or legal roles, with 2+ years in senior compliance positions
- Expert knowledge of global anti-corruption laws and regulations
- Outstanding communication skills with fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in financial services or payment sectors
- Good knowledge of MS-Office, SharePoint is a plus

- Good communication, presentation and coordination skills, excellent professional oral and written skills in English are required. Professional knowledge of Dutch is required.
- Experience in promoting awareness of compliance matters (ad hoc trainings, internal communication, answers questions from business)

- Ability to work in an international and fast changing context
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels in the company (from senior management to local project managers)
- Demonstrates a belief in their abilities even when placed in uncertain situations
