The Opportunity

 

We are looking for a Senior Financial Crime Compliance Officer who will play a crucial role in overseeing and monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Counter Terrorism Financing (“Financial Crime Compliance”) obligations.

 

In this role you will be ensuring full compliance with Financial Crime Compliance requirements for Global Collect Services BV (GCS) as guided by Worldline Group and local compliance officers, in alignment with the organization's compliance framework. The primary focus of this role is to ensure GCS is fully compliant with relevant regulatory and internal requirements, support the compliance strategy, and oversee key processes 
to safeguard our organization from compliance breaches.

 

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

•    Determine the impact of new regulations or changes to existing regulations on the organization in the field of Financial Crime Compliance
•    Ensure the GCS Financial Crime Compliance framework is aligned with regulatory obligations
•    Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the GCS Financial Crime Compliance framework (incl. policies, procedures and controls)
•    Draft/adjust policies and procedures for the different Financial Crime Compliance areas (i.e. CDD, Transaction Monitoring and Sanctions)
•    Maintaining the Financial Crime risk assessment and ongoing (FCC) monitoring programs
•    Together with the MLRO you’ll be involved in determining the Financial Crime strategy/roadmap for GCS 
•    Support with the implementation of Financial Crime strategy at GCS and ensure alignment with Worldline Group
•    Support the development of the more junior members in the team 
•    Handle ad-hoc compliance escalations and participate in various compliance projects as needed 
•    Design and facilitate AML training and awareness for staff
•    Proactively work with the team and other departments in GCS to continuously enhance our business

 

 

Who Are We Looking For

•    An experienced compliance professional with a proven track record and relevant certifications in AML/Compliance 
•    Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance, AML execution, compliance, or financial crime prevention within a multinational (payments or banking) environment
•    Familiarity with control environments, control reviews, and assessments 
•    In-depth knowledge of AML regulations and best practices
•    Familiarity with Payments industry is a plus
•    Strong analytical skills for identifying and mitigating compliance risks 
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders 
•    You have strong presentation and problem-solving skills
•    Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. 
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities efficiently and communicate effectively with (internal) stakeholders
•    You have a multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international and constantly evolving environment
•    High ethical standards and confidentiality 
•    Proficiency in English is mandatory.
