Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

 

  • Act as a point of contact for designated customers in relation to order management, progress and status reports, timescale communications and billing
  • Attend conference calls and meetings with Sales and customers where required.  Time to time you may be expected to drive them without the support of a Sale Manager.
  • You provide proactive communication to customers in a timely manner, setting and managing expectations and following through actions to completion
  • You manage your own customer portfolio.  Responsible for the billing accuracies of each customer.  Highlighting any risks to account managers that affects revenue recognition.
  • You manage the processing of customer purchase orders, ensuring that appropriate timescales are adhered to, and customer expectations are met.
  • You work closely with the Demand Manager and Supply Chain team to ensure stock levels are maintained as required by the customer.
  • You review and distribute customer reports, backup data and other supporting documents.
  • You work closely with other departments to ensure that SLAs are met
  • You work closely with the Account Manger to assist in ensuring the teams committed revenue numbers are achieved
  • You may be asked to complete other tasks that may be reasonably requested.

  • Ability to work on own with limited supervision
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Sales Administration or Support)
  • Good understanding of a ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Excellent IT skills including all Microsoft office packages.  Excel is a must.
