Senior Full Stack Developer  (m/f/d)

In context of card payment a dedicated team is responsible for the product development and services based on the Worldline Pay General Clearing System software suite  (WLP GCS), combined with other components. Both software licensing and hosting offerings are in scope. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) for our team to care for a new customer and its related backend application and user interface. Change requests arise out of regulatory requirements, scheme specifications and client-specific requirements. Beyond that, the team is currently moving the application into cloud environments, which requires adaptations to architecture and design.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) you will work closely together with other people in a team focused on software development in context of our application, i.e. having functional and technical requirements as an input for the team, an extensive application as context and the task to provide tested deliverables in a monthly delivery process. Beyond that, you and the team will also support people from other teams, e.g. working in client projects or operation services. In this role, you will work on

• Creating software solutions, with focus on performance, for processing of electronic payments based on the software suite “Worldline Pay General Clearing System”
• Security related maintenance
• Alignment on requirements with Product Owner and/or Service Delivery
• Implementation of product or customer-specific adaptations and extensions
• Preparation of project documentation
• Specification, preparation and execution of developer tests
• Knowledge transfer to other team members in own area of expertise

Skills we can’t do without:

• University degree in computer science or other relevant education

• Profound work experience in IT services and software development, preferably in the area of electronic payments (SEPA, Credit card)
• Senior level experience with Java, REST/SOAP APIs
• High level experience with RDBMS (Oracle/PostgreSQL)
  • Performance optimization
  • SQL Scripting
• Good testing capabilities
• Bash scripting
• Business fluency in English
