Business Analyst

If you are a highly skilled Business Analyst who has a creative mind and is passionate about high quality delivery, then get ready to join our company!

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for gathering user needs and converting these into actionable development activities.
• Interaction with key stakeholders & customers to analyse the business requirements and then detailing, tracking requirement documents.
• Analysing change requests received from customer and then to incorporate into an existing application.
  • Gain and utilise a thorough understanding of our existing solutions in order to define modifications and expansions to them.
• Preparing documents - Use cases, functional description, epics, user stories etc.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, solution architects, QA throughout projects including occasional client visits (if needed).
• Involvement in a sprint ceremonies like 3 Amigos, planning, daily huddle, retrospective, show & tell…
• Verifying the quality of functionalities so far developed on routine basis to make sure that the product is behaving as per the requirements.
  • Lead the implementation of your solutions in collaboration with the software development teams and wider business functions.
• Involvement in customer UAT support & demonstrations.
• Define future product strategy, road map with stakeholders and prioritise the work items accordingly.

Skills we’d like:

• You possess relevant experience in API products and backend systems (having knowledge of the UK Rail industry is an added advantage).
• You have a degree in engineering.

• You are team oriented but can also work independently. You demonstrate a high degree of independence and self-motivation.
• You stay up to date with new technologies and systems and can quickly learn about them.
• You collaborate clearly with colleagues in India or overseas and to customers according to their technical skill level.

Skills we can’t do without:

• You have significant experience in the business analysis and/or software development field, great analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are organized and skilled in time-management, very accurate and demonstrate high attention to detail. You have sophisticated interpersonal and communication skills
• You are fluent in English, oral and written.
