Compliance Risk Analyst - Card Schemes (fixed-term)

Join our Scheme Compliance team as a Specialist — a key role where your analytical mindset and curiosity will help safeguard the integrity of global payment processes. Whether you already have experience with Card Scheme Networks and Payment Schemes or are eager to grow your expertise in this field, this is your chance to make a real impact in a fast-moving, international environment. You'll support investigations, improve onboarding processes, and collaborate with major global payment networks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

 

  • Handle inquiries and investigations from Card Scheme Networks and other Payment Schemes, ensuring accurate and timely responses
  • Analyse merchant activity across Worldline portfolios to identify risks and unusual patterns
  • Collaborate with internal risk and compliance teams to improve our onboarding and monitoring frameworks
  • Support partners and merchants during Account Data Compromise (ADC) events
  • Participate in audits and FMP reviews from Schemes — track action items and follow-ups
  • Help prepare documentation for third-party or external audit requests
  • Assist with the registration of key merchants and partners with Schemes
  • Monitor changes to Scheme rules and translate them into internal training and guidance
  • Support engagement with partners, key merchants, and sales teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Escalate complex or sensitive cases to 2nd Line Risk when needed
  • Contribute to a strong, supportive team culture and share knowledge

 

What We Are Looking For

 

  • A strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related area
  • Prior experience in risk, compliance, or operations — preferably in the payments or fintech industry
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Familiarity with Card Scheme or Payment Scheme rules is a big plus — but not a must. If you’re eager to learn and grow in this area, we’ll support you
  • Comfortable working across teams and time zones in a fast-paced, international environment
