The Opportunity
Worldline MTS (Mobility and e-Transactional Services) provides end-to-end digital transactional services leveraging our products, data, and payment for a stronger customer engagement. We support our customers’ digital transformation with the creation of innovative solutions, leveraging our products and similar experiences across sectors, and committing on joint business cases. Inside MTS, the “Transport and Mobility” pillar has objectives to facilitate powering journeys and movement worldwide, connecting people whilst prioritising customer satisfaction and social empowerment of our people. The Transport and Mobility pillar covers the following segments:
- Transport Operations: delivering The Time Promise, by connecting the right operational people to the right assets at the right time, to enable an on-time railway.
- Transport Retail: connecting people to transportation systems to improve their daily lives.
- Mobility Orchestration: Integrating transport modes to make MaaS a reality.
- Settlement and Specialist services: providing large scale critical platforms to keep transport on the move.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business and Solution Manager to join our Transport Retail Product team. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will be the voice of the products. You will work closely with the product managers an interact with several internal and external stakeholders. You will provide product and market expertise and support, as well as contribute to the product vision and strategy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to understand their business needs and challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related discussions, addressing queries and providing support.
- Conduct workshops and meetings to present, explain and promote our products
- Develop and propose solutions and business architectures aligned with client needs and business goals and contribute to bids writing in support of pre-sales activities.
- Monitor market updates and customers/prospects’ feedback to identify opportunities for enhancements to be included in the products’ roadmaps
- Ensure coordination, efficiency and consistency between different transport retail products as new features are being scoped and implemented
- Stay informed about UK transport regulations, ticketing standards, and retail compliance requirements and share any relevant update with the teams.
- Contribute to UK and/or international workgroups and speak in conferences and industry events.
Who Are We Looking For
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Excellent knowledge, experience and competence in transport ticketing and payments;
- You have 5+ years of relevant industry experience within UK transport retail and recognised expertise in UK Rail Retail systems and accreditation
- Extensive eperience of working with UK Transport Retail regulators, government bodies, Transport Operating companies and Rail Retail Suppliers.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Business analysis and stakeholder management skills
- You are a people person and build excellent working relationships with peers, senior leaders and cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Experience of managing budgets and P&L
