The Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic Retention Specialist to help us retain our core customer base. In this role, you will deal directly with our customers to find out what issues they are facing, how we can improve our products or services, and how to retain their business.
To be successful as a retention specialist, you should have a persuasive attitude, excellent customer relationship skills, and a passion for sales. Ultimately, a top-class retention specialist can improve sales by creating lasting bonds with customers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize customer retention across the portfolio.
- Analyze customer data (activity, lifecycle, churn rate) and identify at-risk segments.
- Create and execute customer retention programs (win-back campaigns, targeted nudges, personalized offers).
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product/Tech to improve the customer experience.
- Monitor KPIs: churn rate, LTV, NRR, CLV, campaign execution, ROI of retention efforts.
- Report results to leadership on retention initiatives.
- Gather customer feedback from various segments for continuous improvement.
Who Are We Looking For
People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- 1–3 years of experience in a retention/CRM role, Customer Success, Growth Marketing, or similar.
- Familiarity with lifecycle marketing and churn-reduction strategies.
- Ability to design and implement campaigns based on segmentation and personalization.
- Communication skills: written and verbal, empathy, negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Project management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Results-oriented mindset, proactiveness, and independence.
