The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operation Officer/Operation Manager for our Gopay legal entity in Ceske Budejovice, The Czech Republic.

You will be working as part of the technology team for the Gopay legal entity with 12 direct team reposts from application & technical support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

You and your team will excel at daily payment system management, ensuring top-notch security, smooth operations, and providing exceptional application and system support.

• Manage team of financial operation (app support), tech support, system support and IT emergency support
• Handle cross-sectional activities with other departments of the company
• Ensure regular reporting of the performed activities
• Take care of the coordinating IT events/problems/ incidents
• Organize the section work (fulfillment of the main section goals, personnel staffing of the section
• Align with the team payment monitoring, etc. of the OPE department

Who Are We Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience in team management within Fintech, banking, IT or consulting companies (for example, in roles within Operational Support, Delivery Management, or Project Management)
• Profesional experience with problem, incident management, etc.
• Proven background in managing multiple complex projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
• General understanding and knowledge of IT principles (architecture, infrastructure, technologies, IT workflow)
• Previous experience with policy adjustments and the creation of operational SLEs
• Good communication in both written and spoken English and Czech
• Leader with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
