GoPay is a Czech financial institution from České Budějovice, that provides services in the field of payment transactions and fintech, including a payment gateway. It is regulated by the Czech National Bank and is authorized to issue electronic money.The history of GoPay dates back to 2008 when it started as an electronic wallet. In 2010, it began operating its own payment gateway, and in 2012, it obtained a license to operate as an electronic money institution. In 2020, it was acquired by Worldline.

​The Opportunity
 

Currently, we are looking for an IT & Operations Project Specialist to work with our global accounts. We have many hardworking and dedicated peers that would love for you to work with them. We are looking for an organized, innovative, process-driven colleague to join our international team!

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Be a part of an experienced operations team
• Participate in operational projects and collaborate with colleagues to achieve objectives
• Maintain communication with our stakeholders and parent company
• Research principles and emerging trends in the online payments sector
• Conduct regular monitoring of the payment gateway
• Assist in managing emergency situations and provide support as needed.
• Take care of incidents and events that occurs, prepare the evidence and report them internally and externally
• Prepare operations documentation of new processes

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Proficiency in both English and Czech language
• Excellent communication and organizing skills
• Familiarity with ITIL processes
• Understanding of Scrum Master principles
• Experience in project management with demonstrable results is an advantage
• Experience in any form of data processing is a noteworthy advantage
• Background in the banking or payment industries is highly beneficial
