The Opportunity

We strive to deliver a high quality, reliable, Payment Acceptance Platform via a SAAS model.  The Software Developer a key contributor in an engineering team who ensures the platform is of the highest quality and reliability by developing applications and solutions that meet customer needs.  We use a variety of server technologies, like JSON/REST, C#, and SQL to create an always online 24x7 platform.  We develop mobile payment applications and sdk products on Android, iOS, and Windows in native languages like Kotlin, Java, and Obj C and cross-platform languages like C# and C++.  The ideal candidate loves to work on a wide variety of code bases, both server and client side.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Work with other developers to design, code, test and document distributed software applications
• Take part in an agile environment and the practice of iterative and incremental changes
• Lead translation of product requirements into reliable, scalable and maintainable software systems for you and your team to implement
• Develop your skills as a technical mentor through peer code reviews and other collaborative software practices
• Coordinate with production operations teams to help with ad-hoc troubleshooting and client support during regular business hours
• Contribute to software quality by writing unit tests and working with QA on the automated test suite

Who Are We Looking For

• You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Software Development related field
• 8+ years working in Software Development related field
• You’ve got substantial knowledge of SQL and can manage a database (SQL Server)
• You master object oriented languages with experience in C# and Java
• Ability to program in other languages and frameworks with experience in React, JQuery, Python and Django along with other web technologies
• You have experience supporting legacy code bases which are written in Classic ASP and Visual Basic
• You have experience with unit and functional test frameworks and can verify the correctness of code you write
• You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
