The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Process Architect to join the Onboarding Competence Center for SMB (Small and Medium Business). In this global role, you will be responsible for designing, enhancing, documenting, and harmonizing merchant onboarding processes across the entire SMB onboarding organization.
You will collaborate closely with cross-border teams, support multiple platforms, and take a central role in ensuring onboarding workflows are efficient, scalable, and operationally sound. A key part of the role is driving and supporting transitions of processes to our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Poland, ensuring they are implemented effectively and sustainably.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a global environment, enjoys solving complex process challenges, and is passionate about building world-class onboarding experiences.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, evaluate, and improve end-to-end SMB onboarding processes, identifying inefficiencies and harmonizing workflows across regions and platforms.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment, consistency and effective adoption of processes, acting as the main contact for process-related topics.
- Support the transition of onboarding processes to GCC Poland, providing clear documentation, training and support to ensure a smooth and stable handover.
- Create and maintain SOPs, workflows and training materials, ensuring all processes and platforms are operationally ready and well-documented.
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Commercial teams to align process changes and facilitate workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions as the SMB onboarding SME.
- Support multiple onboarding systems, provide input for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance activities.
- Monitor KPIs and feedback to drive continuous improvement, automation and best practice adoption, fostering a culture of standardization and efficiency.
Who Are We Looking For

- Solid experience in process architecture, process management, operational excellence, or similar fields, with strong knowledge of merchant onboarding, KYC, payments, or financial services workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global, cross-cultural teams.
- Strong documentation and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives across regions and stakeholders.
- Experience in shared service/capability center transitions is a plus.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or other improvement methodologies, along with familiarity with CRM systems, onboarding platforms, workflow tools, or automation solutions.
- Previous background in regulated or compliance-focused environments is an advantage.
