The opportunity
Within our Business Products & Operations Area in Value Added Services Tribe, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical execution. You will play a critical role in requirements engineering, ensuring that our products—specifically within the card payment landscape—are supported by clear, actionable specifications. You will work closely with our squads to translate business goals into functional solutions that maintain our high standards for performance and reliability.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering: Gather, analyse, and document comprehensive business and functional requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, structured specifications that serve as a source of truth for the development teams.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to query databases, perform data profiling, and support decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between technical squads and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring that user stories and requirements are well-defined and ready for development.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement in documentation workflows and reporting processes.
- Solution Design: Contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions and database-driven features.
Who are we looking for
We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in requirements engineering, specification, and documentation.
- Solid proficiency in SQL (ability to write queries and analyse data).
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in the card payment industry is highly valued.
- Experience in reporting and data visualization.
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Familiarity with database management and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong coordination and organizational capabilities to manage multiple deliverables.
