The Opportunity

As a Team leader, your mission will be to coordinate the designated financial areas and secure the high-quality &  timely delivery of  Intermediation Accounting activities, with strong drive for continuous improvements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• This includes developing and maintaining a high-performance culture, ensure the appropriate level of competence and motivation within the Team. 
• Your team is responsible for supporting the process of reconciling with external evidence (settlement reports from the payment schemes,...),  as well as the process of reconciling with external evidence (bank statements,...), the general ledger accounts impacted by the various transactional entries resulting from the processing of the payment instruments
• Your team is responsible for supporting the process of executing the clearings of intermediation accounts in SAP or collect evidence to support outstanding balances
• You  coordinate the team in monitoring the status and support the process of monthly/quarterly/annual closure activities in accordance with agreed group/local rules
• You collaborate with other departments as required (Business Process Owners, Project teams for testing,...)
• You build strong relationships with the team and local business teams from the allocated country

Who Are We Looking For

• Educational background in Economics, Accounting, or Finance 5+ year of professional experience in Finance (General Ledger, Investment funds or Banking)
• Proven experience of leading a team
• Capacity to work under pressure and to respect deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills, decision making
• Critical thinking and analytical skills;
• Knowledge of working in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), any other system is a plus
• Strong communication skills in both oral and written in English, any other language would be a plus
• High motivation and ability to fast learn
• Comfortable working in cross-functional/matrix environment, rigorous & accurate working style
• Ability to prioritize complex deliverables, with strong follow-through, schedule workload, focus on meeting deadlines with capacity to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential matters
• Team management skills, organized, with a good self-discipline, initiative & results driven
• Team spirit, positive attitude, willing to learn new things, persuasive, proactive, who enjoys driving initiatives to improve processes and activities in his area of responsibility
