The Opportunity

We are seeking a Product Owner to join a highly motivated agile squad within the Debit Issuing Tribe.Our tribe is diverse, encompassing multiple languages, technologies, and locations, and is organized into small cross-functional DevOps squads.The Debit Issuing Tribe provides highly available services that ensure cashless payment validation and authorization for a significant portion of Swiss, Austrian, and Belgian banks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities​

• Work within one of our scrum squads that are fully responsible for their applications from code to production (DevOps).
• Focus on the payment infrastructure, including issuing transaction handling.
• Ensure the performance of services under high constraints (speed, high availability, robustness, quality, etc.)
• Strongly collaborate with squad members and continuously align with various stakeholders (business engineers, project leads, other product owners) to ensure your squad delivers robust, highly available, and performant software on time and within budget.
• Plan the squad’s activities and manage different deadlines, project, and release timelines.
• Take ownership and end-to-end responsibility for the squad’s applications.
• Support various stakeholders by troubleshooting and resolving any issues occurring in production, ensuring constant system improvement.

• Higher degree in IT, Management, or related fields.
• Relevant working experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in an Agile environment.
• Willingness to learn new things and continuously improve.
• Eagerness to take application ownership and embrace responsibilities.
• Team player.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs.
• Ability to work efficiently in an agile squad.
• Experience working in a complex, multi-site, multi-technology, and multi-language environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of the payments and card management business and related technologies is advantageous.
